Current Designs Pachena DX Transitional Kayak

The Pachena DX is an ideal choice for day paddling and overnighters. The bow and stern storage compartments allow you to safely carry enough gear for an overnight trip. Whether it is a relaxing day paddle, or a short cruise, the Pachena DX has comfort and security in a compact stable package. The Pachena DX has forward and aft hatches with bulkheads for ease of packing and built in buoyancy. The flush hatch design allows the graceful lines of this kayak to be fully expressed. Our attention to details include the Pachena DX having recessed deck fittings and full deck rigging. A more defined keel line enhances the boat's tracking but still allows the boat to maneuver beautifully. The Pachina DX comes standard with a rudder and Werner's Yakima-style sliding rudder control.
